Description
Verdea is spun from 100% organic fine merino wool, with a soft, full body and a naturally warm handfeel.
Compared with superwash wool, the colours appear softer and more quietly layered. Speckles gently spread through the fibres, creating natural transitions and adding depth to both solid and semi-solid shades.
The finished fabric is soft and smooth, with a subtle brushed feel, gentle drape, and enough structure for lightweight everyday garments worn close to the skin.

Every hand-dyed yarn is unique and may vary slightly from one dye batch to another, even when produced under the same conditions. Due to different electronic devices and display settings, the colour of the yarn may vary slightly from the images.
Care
Hand-dyed yarns, especially in deeper tones, may release a small amount of excess dye during the first wash. Gently hand wash in cold water using a mild wool detergent, and lay flat to dry. Avoid soaking for long periods. For stronger colors, a pre-wash before combining with lighter yarns is recommended to minimize any potential dye release. Adding a little vinegar to the rinse water can also help maintain color balance.
We recommend buying enough yarn for your project at once to ensure consistent color, as shades may vary between dye lots.
