Jelly Candy Shawl

The Jelly Candy Shawl is a small triangular shawl worked with three alternating colours. Repeating increase and decrease triangles create playful geometric colour blocks, with crocheted “jelly candy” bobbles adding a small finishing detail.

Worked using intarsia, the shawl gradually grows from the bottom point upwards. Different colour combinations give the same structure a completely different look, and the finished shawl can be worn around the neck, as a headscarf, or as a small accessory.

Gauge

Using 3.5 mm / US 4 needles:

25 sts & 25 rows = 10 cm [4”] × 10 cm [4”]

Gauge is measured over one increase section and one decrease section worked together. The 25-stitch measurement is taken along the diagonal formed by the two triangles.

The gauge doesn’t need to match the given gauge exactly, but the finished size will depend on your chosen yarn and gauge.
