Fofo yarn is a blend of Baby Suri Alpaca and silk, combining natural softness with gentle sheen. The alpaca fibres create a fine, airy texture that feels warm and smooth to the touch, while the silk adds lightness and strength. The result is a soft, well-balanced yarn with excellent drape and versatility for a wide range of projects.

Care
Hand-dyed yarns, especially in deeper tones, may release a small amount of excess dye during the first wash. Gently hand wash in cold water using a mild wool detergent, and lay flat to dry. Avoid soaking for long periods. For stronger colors, a pre-wash before combining with lighter yarns is recommended to minimize any potential dye release. Adding a little vinegar to the rinse water can also help maintain color balance.
We recommend buying enough yarn for your project at once to ensure consistent color, as shades may vary between dye lots.
