Lanira is made from 100% Suri Alpaca. The longer, smoother Suri fibres give the fabric a flowing softness. It feels warm yet light and airy, ideal for everyday wear or layering through the seasons. Each set includes three 20g skeins, perfect for creating colour transitions, gradients, or playful combinations in one project.

Every hand-dyed yarn is unique and may vary slightly from one dye batch to another, even when produced under the same conditions. Due to different electronic devices and display settings, the colour of the yarn may vary slightly from the images.
Care
Hand-dyed yarns, especially in deeper tones, may release a small amount of excess dye during the first wash. Gently hand wash in cold water using a mild wool detergent, and lay flat to dry. Avoid soaking for long periods. For stronger colors, a pre-wash before combining with lighter yarns is recommended to minimize any potential dye release. Adding a little vinegar to the rinse water can also help maintain color balance.
We recommend buying enough yarn for your project at once to ensure consistent color, as shades may vary between dye lots.
