Description
Musa is a light and dry yarn spun from abaca paper fibre blended with cotton. It has a subtle irregular texture and a distinctive paper-like handfeel, giving the fabric a natural, slightly rustic character.
Once knitted or crocheted, the fabric feels airy, crisp, and lightweight, with a relaxed drape that never becomes too heavy. It is especially suitable for summer tops, as well as light shawls, scarves, wraps, and layered accessories.

Care
Hand-dyed yarns, especially in deeper tones, may release a small amount of excess dye during the first wash. Gently hand wash in cold water using a mild wool detergent, and lay flat to dry. Avoid soaking for long periods. For stronger colors, a pre-wash before combining with lighter yarns is recommended to minimize any potential dye release. Adding a little vinegar to the rinse water can also help maintain color balance.
We recommend buying enough yarn for your project at once to ensure consistent color, as shades may vary between dye lots.
