Pena yarn combines the softness of merino with the luster of silk, resulting in a smoother touch, added strength, and a gentle shine. It absorbs dye beautifully, producing vivid, clear colours and especially striking speckles. The knitted fabric is crisp with excellent stitch definition, making it ideal for lace patterns, shawls, and accessories where detail matters. Each set includes one 100g skein and one 20g skein, perfect for creating colour transitions, gradients, or playful combinations in one project.

Care
Hand-dyed yarns, especially in deeper tones, may release a small amount of excess dye during the first wash. Gently hand wash in cold water using a mild wool detergent, and lay flat to dry. Avoid soaking for long periods. For stronger colors, a pre-wash before combining with lighter yarns is recommended to minimize any potential dye release. Adding a little vinegar to the rinse water can also help maintain color balance.
We recommend buying enough yarn for your project at once to ensure consistent color, as shades may vary between dye lots.
